I had a great day at Morley Fair, but the icing on the cake was meeting Kate. Fascinated with her clever dressmaking and sewing and colouring of fabrics I was very envious of her needlework skills. It brought back fond memories of all the embroidery I did before  silversmithing. I loved the colouring and manipulation of using and stitching fabrics. 

Kate loved Gordon and purchased him from me. So excited, Kate asked if she could write a blog about some of my pieces I have made. Not only about the items but the stories behind them and the different techniques use to make them.
