All Jill Bell Design Jewellery come beautifully packaged, ready to give as a gift.  Each piece comes carefully wrapped and presented in either a gift box or an organza drawstring gift bag (depending on the size and nature of the piece)

All my pendants will come with a stirling silver chain approximately 45cm long or the option of having a long black flat suede cord where you can tie it where you like and this has a stirling silver bead on each end to add a bit of glamour. Even if the picture is not showing a chain/cord it is included in the cost.

If the picture shows either a chain or chord this will be supplied unless otherwise stated. If nothing is shown a silver chain will be supplied. If you require the cord please e mail me on the contacts page after placing your order. If you would like a different length of chain or different coloured cord I will do my best to supply but there may be a small additional cost.

 

DELIVERY

STANDARD DELIVERY SERVICE:

• Orders are shipped within 48hrs if completed and paid for online before midday (Mon-Fri), and if all items are in stock at the time of ordering.
• Bespoke orders will be shipped upon agreed delivery date.
• If an item is out of stock you will be contacted within three working days and asked if you wish to cancel for a full refund, wait until I can reproduce the piece or choose an alternative product.
• Delivery charge is displayed once item is added to your basket. Multiple items are combined under a single delivery charge.
• All items will be shipped using recorded insured delivery by royal mail.
• Delivery time cannot be fixed and will be anytime between 8am and 6pm (Mon to Fri) but delivery times are NOT guaranteed.

ORDER ACCEPTANCE

We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase, made by you using our online order system, telephone, email, company purchase order, fax transmission or any other method. Order acceptance and Jill Bell Designs the completion of the contract between you and will only take place on the despatch of the products ordered by you. Until your order has been despatched, we reserve the right to reject your offer to purchase and cancel your order. Non-acceptance of an offer to purchase may be for, but is not limited to, one or more of the following reasons:

• Our inability to obtain satisfactory authorisation for your payment
• Our inability to verify your address details
• The product you ordered being unavailable from stock
• The identification of a pricing or product description error including online, email, printed or verbal

 

 

  Measuring Your Finger

 

Your ring should fit your finger comfortably; snug enough so that it will not fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle.

Finger size changes depending on the time of day and the weather. For best results measure your finger size:

1. At the end of the day and when your fingers are warm (Fingers are smaller in the early morning and when cold.)
2. Measure finger size 3 to 4 times to eliminate an erroneous reading.

Avoid using string or paper to measure ring size as these materials can stretch or twist, yielding an inaccurate measurement.

Ring Sizes in the UK and Ireland

Women’s rings typically range from size G to R. The most commonly purchased women’s ring sizes  range from size K to N. Size M is the most popular ring size.

Men’s rings typically range from size P to Z. The most commonly purchased men’s ring sizes  range from size R to U. Size T is the most popular ring size.

Tips for Buying the Ring as a Surprise

Ask your significant other’s friends or mother if they know her finger size.

Borrow one of your significant other’s rings (from the correct finger) and use the ring measurements to determine its size.

Product Use

The products sold on this site are NOT suitable for children and as such should be used with caution around young children. All of our jewellery is designed to be decorative, functional, for personal use and may fail if over stressed.

 

Some items are oxidised to create a different design effect. The dark finish on exposed parts will with time wear off slightly, leaving the recessed parts darker than the overall finish. To keep the dark appearance, avoid rubbing the pieces against hard surfaces. Items with a 100% oxidised surface should not be polished at all. To clean the shiny areas of partly oxidised pieces, rub carefully with an impregnated cloth and avoid cream polish and dips as those will remove all traces of the oxidisation.

Strung items of jewellery may require re-stringing occasionally and this is characteristic of the jewellery type and not a fault in the manufacturing/design process. I am able to re-string any of our products at a small additional cost, providing all components are returned. I can also repair partial lost items, with a similar product…I would have to see it and advise you of what I can replace lost pieces with, and the cost.

Gemstones strung are a completely natural item and may contain natural flaws and marks.

Pearls are from the Far East they are natural with variations, which you would expect from a natural organic gem. Please do not wash them as some natural pearls do not like this and will lose their lustre.

When wearing pearls and gemstones please try and keep them away from perfumes, makeup and hairspray as this may harm them.

My products are not intended for heavy use and it is the buyer’s responsibility to assess the suitability of the product for its intended use.

Please note that, as our products are handmade using semi-precious gemstones, care should be taken when handling as breakage can occur as stones are delicate and may break if impacted with hard surfaces or dropped. Precious metals do tarnish and may require occasional polishing with a specialist cloth (can be purchased from most high street jewellers) I am unable to accept any liability for tarnish of metals or damage to gemstones.

Product descriptions and colour 
I take every effort to ensure that our products match the description and photographs on the website. Slight variations in colour may occur due to lighting/photography and the variable nature of gemstones. However, I do my best to ensure these are kept to a minimum and our products/descriptions are as accurate as possible.

 

Returning Unwanted, Incorrectly Ordered Or *Faulty Item

• You are responsible for the cost and safe return to Jill Bell Designs of any unwanted goods.
• Please contact me at [email protected]
• Please ensure that you retain proof of sending any item for return. You must take reasonable care of the item and must return it, and all packaging and accessories, in original condition, unworn. After we receive the item plus all packaging and accessories in original condition, we will refund the purchase price of the item in full, within 7 days. Delivery charges are not refundable.
• The consumer shall not be entitled to a full refund of the product purchase price if he/she does not take reasonable care of the Goods either prior to
• Cancellation of the Contract or, following cancellation, while the Goods remain in the possession of the consumer. For the purposes of this clause, a consumer shall be deemed not to have taken reasonable care of the Goods if such Goods are not returned to Jill Bell Designs
• Packed in their original box, with all accessories, or if the Goods or the internal or external packaging is defaced or damaged in any way.
• Jill Bell Designs cannot, & does not, in any way attempt to warrant the suitability of goods for a particular purpose. It is your responsibility to carefully check specifications, sizes and compatibility before ordering. If you are unsure of the size, suitability or compatibility of an item, please contact Jill Bell before placing your order. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are purchasing the correct product.

• Please note that all returns are subject to our Terms and Conditions, but these do not affect your statutory rights
